Location:DND - Amsterdam, Netherlands
Site condition and spatial constraint
The entrance and connecting tunnels of DND Amsterdam had a low ceiling and tight circulation. The lighting system had to make these areas feel immersive and expansive, support day-to-day operation across different event formats, and deliver a distinctive spatial identity.
3D LED ceiling with mirror depth
The ceiling was built as a three-dimensional light structure rather than a conventional fixture layout. Hundreds of LED bars and mirrors extend the perceived space, creating a flexible 3D LED canvas. The tunnels between the two areas surround visitors with light and motion for a fully immersive transition. LED content is adapted to different event and music formats.
Pixel-level control and operational design
The system enables precise effects and gradients across the full structure. Despite the complexity, the control setup is designed for practical use, allowing staff to create and run visual looks without friction.
